I graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering thinking that tree work probably wasn’t my path in life. However, during those years, there was always some tree work on the weekends to help pay for that education. I always wanted to start a business, so at the end of 2009, I decided to come back to my roots and formed Hildebrandt Tree Tech. In 2012 my younger brother Kelly officially teamed up with us and our dad, Rick, shortly thereafter in 2014. In 2015 my wife’s aunt, Edie, joined us answering phones and scheduling estimates. My wife Samye just recently started working with us in the office as well. As you can tell, at Hildebrandt Tree Tech, it’s all about family! I have been truly blessed with the opportunity to work every day in an industry that I’m very passionate about and with some of the people that are closest to me in life.
When I’m not working, my beautiful wife and I are busy raising four children. Kaleb, Jolie, Jace, and Holt are blessings in our lives and keep us on our toes! We enjoy camping, RV trips, scuba diving, boating, hunting, and all the usual activities that go along with growing kids.
God has truly blessed our family and company. Our team of employees are as good as it gets, but none of this would matter without our customers. Our work, by itself, is very rewarding, but when you combine that with our great customers it’s a perfect combination. We are truly grateful for each of our customers affording us the opportunity to care for their trees!
