After graduating from Southwestern University – Georgetown, I began a 34 year career as a public school Music Teacher. I retired from teaching in 2011, and in the fall of 2014, I returned to my “hometown” of Lorenzo, joining Hildebrandt Tree Tech in 2015. I feel very blessed to be back in this region of Texas, where the people are friendly and roots run deep. I am equally blessed to be a member of the “Hildebrandt Tree Tech Family.” Every day is a new experience that I enjoy very much. Though I’ll never be a tree expert, I have definitely learned a great deal about the tree business and tree care! Working with everyone in this company is a joy, but it is also the people that I meet every day on the phone that keep a smile on my face! I consider it a privilege to be that first voice you hear when you call Hildebrandt Tree Tech, and I assure you, I don’t take that privilege lightly. Just know that if I can’t answer your question, I will do my very best to find that answer for you.

When I’m not at work, I am spending time with my family. I am married to my husband of almost 37 years, Dr. Ken Tunstall. Ken has been a Math Teacher, Math Professor, Dean, V-Pres. and President in Junior Colleges throughout Texas. He doesn’t sit “idle” very well, so instead of retiring, he chose to return to his teaching roots. He is now teaching Pre-Calculus and College Algebra at Lubbock Cooper High School, and truly loves it. We are proud parents to 2 beautiful daughters, Casey and Megan…1 handsome son-in-law, Kyle…and 2 precious grand-dogs: Dito and Cleetus.

To all of our Tree Tech customers…THANK YOU…YOU make MY job so very rewarding…every day.
