I am a native “West Texan,” and grew up in the small town of Lorenzo, 17 miles east of Lubbock.
After graduating from college, I began a 34 year career as a public school Music Teacher. I retired from teaching in 2011, and last fall, I returned to my “hometown,” of Lorenzo. I feel very blessed to be back in this region of Texas, where the people are friendly and roots run deep. I am so blessed to be a member of the “Hildebrandt Tree Tech Family.” Every day is a new experience, and I enjoy it very much. Though I’ll never be a tree expert, I have definitely learned a great deal about the tree business and tree care! Working with everyone in this Tree Tech family is a joy, but it is also the people that I meet every day on the phone that keep a smile on my face! I consider it a privilege to be that first voice you hear when you call Hildebrandt Tree Tech, and I assure you, I don’t take that privilege lightly. Just know that if I can’t answer your question, I will do my very best to find that answer for you.
When I’m not at work, I am spending time with my family. I am married to my husband of almost 33 years, Dr. Ken Tunstall. Ken has been a Math Teacher, Math Professor, Dean, V-Pres. and President in Junior Colleges throughout Texas. He doesn’t sit “idle” very well, so instead of retiring, he has chosen to return to his teaching roots. He is now teaching HS Math at Roosevelt High School, and loves it! We are parents to 2 beautiful daughters, Casey and Megan…2 handsome sons-in-law, Kyle and Trey…and 3 precious grand-dogs: Dito, Dixie, and Roscoe!
To all of our Tree Tech customers… THANK YOU… You make my job so very rewarding…every day.
